We'll then provide the couple creativity, insider information and resources for wedding professionals, such as: photographers reception sites caterers florists DJs bands
All professional contacts referred to the couple will be in their price range and style. They can decide to book with our preferred vendors (we've done all the legwork on these individuals/companies); else, we can accompany them to their chosen vendor to assist with contract review/negotiation.
When meeting with the couple, what are the first things we work on?
The #1 thing we do is observe our client's personality to pick the style or "atmosphere" for their wedding, and then we begin searching for the venue. The site of the ceremony and reception is the most important decision a couple makes, and can be the most time-consuming. Once they decide, we make sure the venues they've chosen are available. This is usually where our working relationship starts, and then build from there. We will present couple of visual proposal packages for the couple to choose from. E.g. more money for food and less for entertainment or less for food and more on decorations. All proposals will total their budgeted amount. Once the couple decides on a proposal, we'll make all the arrangements for them; from contacting all the vendors involved to ordering all items and services that are required to make the event a success.
What are our duties leading up to The Big Day?
As organizer of this dream occasion, our job would be to expound on their ideas to enhance the most joyous occasion in life, ensuring deadlines for decisions are met. We will escort the bride/couple to appointments, if needed. We'll call things to their attention. For example, "tasting with Muna at the WaterFall View this Tuesday." Also, remind them about dance rehearsals, gown fitting, tuxedo pick up, etc. This saves the couple a lot of time because, we keep track of all those little things that might get lost in the pile. We will even step in and run some errands if need be, with the proper authority.
